Operating across all stages of production, they have successfully designed, manufactured, and integrated systems for leading blue-chip food producers in most countries around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019ll play a crucial role in delivering tailored engineering solutions from concept through to completion. You will act as a technical link between departments, ensuring seamless communication and successful project delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Opportunity:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Working closely with the Sales Team and customers, you will develop optimised layouts and value-driven solutions. You will take full ownership of projects from initial concept and customer approval through to manufacture, installation, commissioning, and final sign-off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Engage with customers and represent the business in a professional and commercially focused manner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with the Sales Team to develop optimised, value-driven solutions aligned with customer requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Produce and refine layout drawings, clearly defining scope of supply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct risk assessments for proposed solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take full ownership of projects from concept through to final customer sign-off, liaising with Design Engineers to develop high-quality SolidWorks models and manufacturing drawing packs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure all designs comply with relevant legislation, standards, and customer expectations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee project progress through manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and closure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor project costs against budget to ensure profitability targets are achieved , and identify opportunities for additional revenue outside the original scope.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain effective communication across departments , provide technical support to internal teams , and prepare all necessary technical documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continuously review designs and processes to identify cost savings and efficiency improvements , specifying mechanical components including belts, motors, and pneumatic systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What We\u2019re Looking For:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A third-level qualification in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline, with proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficient in SolidWorks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with electrical and pneumatic control systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong commercial awareness , organisational, and time management skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously , working both independently and collaboratively.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to travel as required and flexibility to work outside standard hours, including weekends, when necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Desirable experience includes sheet metal fabrication , the food processing industry , and hands-on engineering or workshop experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why Apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be part of a growing, globally recognised engineering business.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work on innovative, large-scale international projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement and innovation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborative and supportive team environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>If this sounds like something you want to be involved with then please click apply.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Important Information: Talentometry are accredited members of the Association of Professional Staffing Companies.
