We’re working with an industrial automation (control system) integration business to recruit an automation sales engineer.

The business, which has been in consistent growth for the past three decades, works across a wide range of industries from materials handling to process control through to control systems for heavy engineering works. All solutions include a Siemens / Rockwell PLC controlled system typically within a factory.

They have UK-wide operations and are now looking to expand their sales team due to a consistent increase in the number of enquiries.

You will be mentored and led by a seasoned senior sales engineer who has an incredible track record of success. This opportunity will suit a junior controls engineer looking to make the jump to applications engineer or perhaps a sales engineer from a direct sales background selling into the automation industry.

Salary is up to £45k (depending on experience) and the package includes private healthcare and /45p mile and on going professional development (the business regularly puts individuals through external qualifications and has an academy for junior staff coming through the ranks)

The ideal candidate may come from a system integrator or perhaps have an electrical background.
